I painted this after returning from my honeymoon in Kauai. My grandparents saw a picture we took of this lighthouse and remembered visiting it. They have the painting right now and after owning their home for 50+ years, have yet to make many holes in the walls to hang things. This became an exception to them which makes me feel like I gave it to the right people!
